Responsibilities: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing - Conduct patient assessments and document medical history - Take and develop dental x-rays - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and providing suction - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental software systems - Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Skills: - In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and practices - Proficient in using dental software systems - Strong understanding of medical documentation and recordkeeping - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and instruments - Familiarity with anatomy and oral health conditions Join our team of dedicated dental professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
