Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Vernal, UT
Schedule Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Prior experience with dental software and a strong understanding of dental procedures are highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering comprehensive dental services, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics and endodontics. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques and chairside assisting skills Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are met Take and develop dental X-rays, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Manage medical documentation and records, ensuring compliance with medical coding and HIPAA guidelines Educate patients on dental terminology, post-operative care, and treatment plans Assist with medical imaging procedures and monitor patient vital signs during appointments Support front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control protocols We are a small, friendly dental practice looking for a dependable Dental Assistant who wants a low-stress, welcoming place to work.
