Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and treatment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral health issues, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. A strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and medical documentation is essential for success in this role. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to diagnose oral health conditions Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and oral health education Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Valid state dental license to practice dentistry Experience in a dental clinic or office setting preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques Strong skills in patient care and assessment with a focus on providing exceptional service Familiarity with infection control standards and practices within a clinical environment Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients of all ages Join our dedicated team of professionals committed to providing outstanding dental care while fostering a welcoming environment for our patients.
