Job Summary Our very established and extremely well organized general dentistry office would like to add a full-or part-time dental hygienist to our team. We are very fortunate to have amazing long-time patients, and a very strong team of professionals who take pride in excellent communication and teamwork. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies Assist with chairside procedures, including four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and comfort Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office standards Support infection control practices by following aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures Review documentation for accuracy, ensuring all medical coding and records are complete and up-to-date Qualifications Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards Prior experience in general dentistry is highly desirable Ability to perform patient care tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care!
