Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays using appropriate aseptic techniques. Maintain strict infection control standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations and OSHA guidelines. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before finalizing records or submitting for billing. Collaborate with dentists to ensure comprehensive patient care, including pediatric dentistry when applicable. Manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing. Local Anesthesia Certification Proven experience with dental office management software such as Dentrix. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
