Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and various dental procedures. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Execute a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide exceptional patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including the use of Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix software for patient management. Conduct pediatric assessments and treatments with a focus on creating a positive experience for young patients. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with dental office operations and experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
