Associate General Dentist - Medico M.D. Dental - Harlingen, TX

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health needs. Perform a variety of dental procedures Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and dental fabrication. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid dental license to practice in the state of Texas Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix is preferred. We can provide training on Dentrix Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.
