Overview Join our dynamic team as a Front Desk Team Member at a leading dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and a welcoming environment. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth clinic operations through excellent administrative support. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced, friendly setting. Dental experience is NOT required as we are willing to train the right person. However, please note, the salary for this position will be based on the applicantâs dental experience level and medical insurance is not an employee benefit. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a positive first impression Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and efficiency Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification using online portals Schedule appointments, coordinate patient flow, and manage appointment calendars using Dentrix Answer phone calls promptly with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with billing procedures including treatment planning efforts and processing payments Support administrative tasks such as data entry, and managing electronic health records (EHR systems) Requirements Previous experience in a dental office or medical office management is preferred. Proficiency in using phone systems and office equipment. Familiarity with dental practice management software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
