Dental Assistant â Deschutes River Dentistry (Tumwater, WA) Schedule: Full-time, MondayâThursday, 7:00amâ4:00pm Compensation: Starting at $25/hr+ (DOE) We are Deschutes River Dentistry in Tumwater, and weâre looking for a caring, energetic Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team. We work hard, have fun, and are obsessed with delivering the best patient experienceâespecially for folks with dental anxiety. Youâll also need to be comfortable around (and hopefully adore) our beloved emotional support dog, Copper, and appreciate some good tunes during the day. What Youâll Do as a Dental Assistant: Chairside assist the doctor for a full range of procedures, including fillings, crown preparations, new-patient exams, and more Take diagnostic x-rays and capture high-quality intraoral photos Maintain impeccable sterilization and operatory turnover protocols Prep rooms, manage instruments, and ensure smooth patient flow Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to reduce anxiety and build trust Collaborate with a supportive team to keep the day on time and on point What Weâre Looking For in a Dental Assistant: 1+ years of chairside Dental Assistant experience (required) Preferred Expanded Functions Reliable, positive, and patient-experience focusedâyou bring calm and kindness to every visit Comfort around our four-legged team member, Copper (must love dogs!)
