Who We're Looking For (The Must-Haves) If this sounds like you, let's talk: Qualification Requirement Licensure Active, unrestricted Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Education Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Certifications Current CPR certification (BLS). Tech-Savvy Proficiency with modern dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and digital imaging (X-rays, intraoral camera). Patient-Focused A genuine passion for preventative care and patient education, with excellent chairside manner. Your Daily Impact (Job Responsibilities) As our Dental Hygienist, you'll be the clinical powerhouse of our practice. Your responsibilities will include: Clinical Excellence: Performing comprehensive periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing, and prophylaxis treatments with meticulous care. Patient Empowerment: Delivering individualized oral hygiene instructions, counseling patients on nutritional and lifestyle factors impacting oral health. Advanced Screening: Taking, developing, and mounting high-quality digital radiographs and conducting thorough oral cancer screenings. Treatment Collaboration: Educating patients on their treatment needs, discussing proposed procedures, and collaborating effectively with the dentist and the rest of the team. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate, detailed, and timely patient records in our digital system. Preventative Services: Applying sealants and topical fluorides as needed. Why Our Practice?
