Position Title Dental Assisting Adjunct Instructor - Sub Employee Group Faculty Division/Department Dental Assisting Status This is a Substitute position; as needs change, the position may involve more teaching assignments/hours. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Provide clinical and or didactic instruction in the Dental Assisting program. Maintain accurate student records. Assist program director with curriculum assessment and development. Some courses may require assigning and supervising student experiences in local dental offices. Required Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Registered Dental Assistant License, State of Michigan 2 years recent, relevant clinical chairside experience Eligible to take CDA exam through Dental Assisting National Board Current BLS/CPR Certification Additional Experiences Considered ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES CONSIDERED : Teaching experience Experience with curriculum development Community Involvement Professional organization participation Bachelors or Masters Degree Flexible Schedule/Availability Application Deadline Position will remain open until filled.
