Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Receptionist and Dental Assistant to join our endodontic specialty practice. Infection control certificate and Radiology certificate preferred , but we are willing to train the right person. Attitude is the most important thing! This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and can confidently support both clinical and administrative functions. We are a low volume office that focuses on quality and patient experience. The ideal candidate has a strong appetite for learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to transition seamlessly between chairside assisting and front desk duties. Experience with EMR systems is preferred, along with a solid understanding of HIPAA regulations, radiography, and infection control protocols. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations within our endodontic office. Duties Assist the endodontist during procedures including root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies, and emergency care assistant side microscopes Take and record vital signs, radiographs, and CBCT/3D scans as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterilized and organized according to endodontic workflow Operate EMR systems for accurate charting, clinical notes, and record management Manage front desk responsibilities including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, collecting copays, and verifying dental insurance benefits Handle incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and deliver excellent customer service in a calm and professional manner Assist with medical and dental coding, documentation, and preparation of claims for billing Provide four-handed dentistry support during all endodontic procedures, including use of the microscope and isolation systems Educate patients on post-operative instructions, pain management, and follow-up care Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 14.0 â 32.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Free parking Health insurance On-the-job training Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Uniform allowance Work Location: In person
