Endodontic Dental Assistant – Join Our Growing Team! We are a growing two-doctor practice dedicated to providing empathetic, patient-centered care in a supportive and engaging environment. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality endodontic treatment with compassion and integrity. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and team-focused Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our expanding team. This role is vital in supporting our doctors by assisting in the preparation and clinical care of patients throughout their endodontic procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and committed to creating a positive experience for our patients and teammates alike. Responsibilities Prepare patients for treatment with professionalism and care Take digital x-rays and other radiographic images as needed Monitor patients’ comfort and well-being during procedures Accurately record and communicate patient health history and concerns to the doctor Maintain and organize dental records and treatment notes Assist the doctor during procedures through instrumentation and charting Set up and turn over treatment rooms in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines Sanitize and sterilize instruments and equipment properly Demonstrate a "can-do" attitude and support teammates proactively Perform other administrative or clinical duties as needed to support the team Qualifications Dependable, flexible, and professional demeanor Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both patients and colleagues Ability to function effectively in a team environment Proficient in basic computer and dental software skills Self-motivated with the ability to stay productive during downtime Excellent clinical skills including four-handed dentistry and proper instrument handling Working knowledge of sterilization protocols and infection control procedures Familiarity with endodontic materials, instruments, and procedures Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC regulations Preferred Experience 2+ years of chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry (preferred, not required) 1+ years of experience in endodontic assisting (preferred, not required) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance On-the-job training Uniform allowance Vision insurance Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
