We are looking for Mon, Tues, and Wednesday, possibly an opening on Thursday. We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team temporarily from November through the end of February, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and possess a strong understanding of dental practices. This role involves working closely with patients to ensure their oral health is maintained through effective hygiene practices and education. Duties Perform thorough dental assessments, scaling, and root planing as needed. Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care. Maintain accurate and thorough dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment. Assist with pediatric dentistry, adapting approaches to meet the needs of younger patients. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and care quality. Qualifications Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice. Strong clinical and communication skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care A positive attitude and ability to work well with a collaborative team Experience with Dentrix software is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry practices. Familiarity with taking radiographs Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development in pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry techniques.
