Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort. Perform tasks such as taking medical imaging, recording vital signs, and updating patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Sterilize instruments and equipment according to established guidelines. Manage dental supplies inventory, including ordering and restocking as needed. Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, with knowledge of systems like Epic for patient management. Familiarity with medical imaging processes relevant to dental care. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Ability to apply aseptic techniques and infection control measures effectively. Competence in measuring and recording vital signs accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow within the clinic. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to evolving dental technologies.
