Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Racine, WI
Job Overview We are seeking an experiaced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. Duties Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Assist the dentist during procedures. Take and develop dental x-rays. Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care. Maintain accurate patient records. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant healthcare role preferred. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and X-Ray procedures. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical coding. Proficiency in medical terminology. Ability to assist with various dental procedures using aseptic techniques. Experience with dental practice management systems such as Dentrix Ascend or Eaglesoft.
