Lead Pediatric Dental Assistant - Dental 360 & Associates - Chicago, IL

Location: Two offices Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Join the Dental 360 Team! We are seeking experienced and motivated Pediatric Dental Assistants to join our fast-paced, patient-centered practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pediatric care, fluent in both English and Spanish, and ready to take on a leadership role in delivering outstanding dental experiences to our young patients. Key Responsibilities: Support daily pediatric operations to ensure smooth patient flow and clinical efficiency Create a welcoming, child-friendly environment for patients and parents Assist the doctor during pediatric procedures, ensuring comfort and cooperation of young patients Apply effective behavior management techniques to ease dental anxiety Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures Perform sterilization and infection control per OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA standards Take pediatric dental X-rays Educate parents and patients on oral hygiene and post-op care Maintain accurate patient records and charting using Dentrix Ascend (knowledge preferred) Coordinate with front desk staff to optimize scheduling and patient communication Support and mentor other assistants as needed Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of hands-on pediatric dental assisting experience required Bilingual – Fluent in English and Spanish (Required) Strong behavior management skills for pediatric patients Ability to multitask and remain calm in a high-volume environment Excellent communication and customer service skills High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Cross-trained in front and back office duties (preferred) Dentrix experience is a plus Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Free parking Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Referral program Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) Leadership : 2 years (Required) Pediatric dentistry: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
