Requirement -Work Ethics and Honesty -BILINGUAL a plus but not required -3 or more years of experience is a plus - Eaglesoft software experience is a Plus -Nitrous oxide certification is a plus Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our general dentistry team. This position requires a dynamic individual who can assist in a wide range of clinical tasks, including surgical procedures such as implant placements , while also taking leadership over sterilization protocols, supply inventory , and equipment maintenance . The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and supporting a smooth-running dental practice. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including general dentistry and surgical implant placements. Prepare treatment rooms with proper instruments, materials, and infection control protocols. Take digital x-rays, intraoral photos, and impressions as needed. Educate patients on post-op instructions and oral hygiene. Surgical & Implant Support: Set up and break down surgical trays for implant placement and other surgical procedures. Maintain a sterile field and assist during implant surgery with precision and efficiency. Track implant components and maintain proper inventory. Sterilization & Infection Control: Oversee sterilization protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. Ensure all instruments and treatment areas are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared. Inventory & Supplies Management: Monitor and order dental supplies, Track supply usage and ensure timely restocking without over-ordering. Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality and cost-efficiency. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on dental equipment. Report and coordinate repairs or service needs in a timely manner. Leadership & Team Support: Serve as a team leader for the clinical staff, helping train and guide junior assistants. Collaborate with front desk and clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience. Support doctors and office manager in maintaining workflow and efficiency. Qualifications: Minimum of 2â3 years of experience in general dentistry; surgical or implant experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of dental materials, infection control protocols, and dental software (Eaglesoft). Strong organizational and time management skills. Leadership ability and a proactive mindset Work Schedule: Full-time, some Saturdays are required. Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience, with benefits available (health insurance, PTO, CE opportunities).
