Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Administrative Assistant to join our vibrant dental practice. Duties Greet patients warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and courtesy Schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring optimal patient flow Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing using systems adhering to HIPAA regulations Review and update patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness in compliance with health information management standards Assist with medical administrative support tasks including documentation review, coding, and care plan coordination Manage filing of dental records, maintain organized office files, and handle correspondence efficiently Support front desk operations by managing office supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth office management procedures Handling patient billing and aging reports Experience Prior experience (minimum 12 months) working in a dental office environment is required, with familiarity in dental terminology and clinic procedures Proven proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Strong knowledge of dental billing, coding (ADA), insurance verification, and insurance billing processes Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (10-key), and familiarity with multi-line phone systems Bilingual abilities are highly valued, but not required, to serve diverse patient populations effectively Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on patient service excellence in a fast-paced setting Previous clerical experience involving filing, documentation review, and office management tasks is desirable Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in accordance with HIPAA standards Join our team where your enthusiasm meets purpose!
