Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures - 2+ years Open Dental experience preferred but not requred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely following radiation safety standards Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Experience with chairside assisting with proven clinical skills making temp crowns, operatory set up, quality impressions and xrays. Knowledge of procedures and how to chart treatment planns is a major plus! Great work ethic with a positive attitude Certification in dental assisting or relevant licensure preferred but not required depending on state regulations Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with team members This position is integral to delivering exceptional dental care while fostering a professional environment focused on patient well-being.
