Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Chicago, IL
Looking for a Experienced Dental assistants to join our team around Chicago area. Requirement: - must be Certified in coronal polishing and sealants - Must have reliable transportation, "welling to travel between different locations" - responsible and follow orders - familiar with EagleSoft system - Provide a relaxed atmosphere for children who are nervous / anxious about their dental experience. - Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment Candidates must have the ability to perform the following duties: Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Prepares patient for dental treatment by being welcoming Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests. Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments. Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth. Pouring, trimming, and polishing of casts. Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Must be a team player Candidates with some experience in the dental field will be preferred but experience is not required. Timeliness and efficiency are necessary. We also request candidate live in the Elgin area. Compensation based on experience, discussed at interview.
