What youâll do Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy using four-handed dentistry techniques. Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews, to tailor care plans effectively. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care. Utilize Open Dental software for documentation and medical records management while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control measures and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that address individual patient needs. Requirements Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and understanding of medical terminology. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a passion for providing outstanding patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
