Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. Conduct patient evaluations, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories. Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient documentation and record-keeping. Assist in chairside procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow during treatments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Review medical records and documentation for accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and relevant advancements in the field. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
