Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental equipment is functioning properly using aseptic techniques. Assist dentists chairside during a variety of general dentistry procedures Take digital dental X-rays, while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Have some experience with Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs CPR certified Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions about dental terminology, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist and updating medical documentation and records. A team player who is willing to help out when needed in the office Open and receptive to feedback and willing to learn and adapt to a new office culture. Someone whose looking for a long term job position Skills experience with Dentrix, Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Able to take high quality X-rays Familiarity with dental terminology across general dentistry Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Competence in taking vital signs and understanding medical terminology relevant to dental care.
