Benicia Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Registered Dental Assistant. As a dental assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice while providing exceptional patient care. The position is for full time 5 days per week (Monday-Friday). Responsibilities: Assist the dental hygienist during patient dental cleaning visits Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Take and develop dental x-rays (we will help train if applicant does not have previous x-ray experience) Assist hygienists with patient post-operative instructions following dental care Perform various office tasks as needed to maintain efficient workflow Requirements: Candidates shall have a minimum 2-years working experience of an RDA or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
