Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a sterile environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting with a focus on general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care while adhering to HIPAA and infection control standards. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials using aseptic techniques Take and develop dental X-rays and operate imaging equipment Record vital signs and medical history, ensuring accurate medical documentation and records management Maintain infection control protocols and ensure all equipment is sterilized according to industry standards Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health practices Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency during procedures Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Perform coronal polish Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
