Entry-Level Dental Assistant for Orthodontic practice We are looking for a friendly and highly motivated DA to join our fun growing team. No orthodontic experience needed – we’re ready to teach you the skills you need and you just need bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to our team every day. Duties: - Welcome patients to the practice. - Take patient's records (photos, scans, radiographs). *Our team will provide you with the right training. - Explain treatment plan to patients, educate patients on treatment procedures. - Sterilize instruments according to regulation - Prepare patient for orthodontic procedures - Keep treatment area clean - Set up instruments and materials - Open to learn to be cross trained for occasional frontdesk tasks such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments on a computer - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of phone systems and customer service principles - Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot - Competence to master new skills quickly Although no experience is required, the following is preferred: - Dental X-ray certification - CPR certified We are looking for full-time candidates.
