Both new grads and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. Take and document vital signs and dental imaging as needed. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Conduct patient assessments and provide feedback to the dental team regarding treatment plans. Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols within the office. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all dental instruments are sterilized properly. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in Illinois. Experience with Dentrix software is preferred. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dental terminology. Ability to perform infection control measures effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members professionally.
