Little Smile Co. Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is a fast paced and growing dental office that caters exclusively to kids in a fun, upbeat, and happy work environment like no other dental office. We are searching for highly motivated receptionist to join our team! MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO CLARKSDALE AND CLEVELAND LOCATIONS. Must have EXCEPTIONAL customer service skills and attention to detail, be personable, highly organized, work well under pressure, and able to multi-task. Must be willing to travel between our two office locations in Clarksdale and Cleveland. Overall responsibilities will consist of appropriately greeting and welcoming patients to the practice and scheduling, or cancelling patient appointments as needed. Position and Responsibilities Responsible for patient scheduling, patient management, collecting fees and maintaining appearance and order of patient waiting areas as well as front desk areas Specific duties include the following: Reception Management - Open and close dental office according to office protocol -Answer and respond to phone calls -Perform general office duties such as photocopying, filing, and faxing Scheduling -Schedule patients and check daily schedule for accuracy -Greet patient with a warm welcome and a smile -Schedule follow up appointments and provide telephone reminders Financial -Verifying method of payment, and collecting patient portions and co-pays prior to treatment Patient Management -Maintain front lobby and reception desk area -Stock, manage, and keep reception and patient restroom clean throughout day -Greet and welcome patients and visitors -Check in patients according to protocol Records Management -Gather and accurately record dental, medical, insurance, and HIPAA information from patients prior to treatment -Present and gather consent forms prior to treatment -See that records are stored securely and handled in compliance with HIPAA -Accurately scan patient information and other relevant records Office Participation & Professionalism - Be kind and courteous to patients, staff, doctors, and others - Be an active participant in staff meetings - Perform tasks as assigned by the dentist or manager - Take initiative to identify and execute ways to continually improve individual and practice performance -To the extent possible, help others perform their tasks when overloaded or backed up or to otherwise increase the operational and emotional performance of office staff members Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. At least 1 year of experience working in a customer oriented receptionist position Working knowledge of general administrative practices Excellent telephone etiquette Exceptional organization skills Excellent customer service skills 'Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Paid time off Work Location: In person
