We are looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team in Starkville, MS! Business hours are Monday through Thursday 8 to 5; Fridays our staff is on a rotating call list to address patient's clinical questions and emergencies. What We Offer Medical, vision, and life insurance 401(k) Plan Short and long-term disability coverage PTO + paid holidays Discounts on dental care for your children Great team atmosphere What You’ll Do Welcome patients into the clinical setting Prepare patients for the scheduled treatment Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Clean/disinfect treatment rooms between patients Maintain accurate patient records on electronic software Keep chairs stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment What You’ll Need High School Diploma or equivalent required Some dental experience is helpful, but not required [MS] Registered Dental Assistant Certification/ License if applicable [MS] Radiography Certification if applicable CPR certification if applicable Job applicants who advance to the interviewing process may be asked to provide a work history with at least 3 professional references and to attend 1-2 working interviews.
