Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dental family 1-2 times per week. Compensation at 32% of collections. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures, patient care, and dental technology. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and explain procedures clearly to patients. Utilize dental imaging technology and dental fabrication techniques to support diagnosis and treatment. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient care efficiency. Manage pediatric patients with specialized approaches in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery when necessary. Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, medical terminology, and dental office procedures to ensure high-quality care. Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines related to anatomy knowledge, infection control, and medical documentation. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required. Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques: prophylaxis, SRP, perio maintenances. Familiarity with dental software such as open Dental and Dexis is preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with precision. Strong understanding of medical records management and medical imaging techniques. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient confidentiality is essential. Experience with dental fabrication processes and infection control protocols will be highly valued.
