Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures effectively. Take and document vital signs, medical imaging, and other necessary patient information accurately. Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and improve clinic operations. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices relevant to the field. Requirements Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and provide quality care. Understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques within a clinical environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
