Job Overview Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment. In this role, you will support dentists in providing comprehensive dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with all necessary instruments and materials, ensuring a sterile environment following infection control standards. Assist dentists during various procedures by handing instruments and managing patient comfort. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while maintaining proper radiation safety protocols. Manage medical documentation and records to ensure accurate and confidential data entry in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform chairside assisting with aseptic technique and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices tailored for pediatric or adult patients. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and acting as a dental receptionist when needed to ensure smooth clinic operations. Skills Proficient in Korean or Chinese language. Proficiency with EMR systems for efficient medical documentation and record management. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Experience with chairside assisting in general dentistry settings. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Skilled in medical coding and documentation related to dental procedures for accurate record keeping. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team and provide compassionate patient care. Respectful towards other coworkers.
