Duties Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions using advanced clinical skills and current best practices in general dentistry. Perform dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging using medical imaging tools. Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Apply infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to create a safe environment for patients and staff. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable. Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, techniques, and technology to provide innovative care solutions. Skills Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and thoroughly. Ability to perform dental extractions safely while maintaining aseptic technique standards. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices when working with children or adolescent patients. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy compliance. Strong communication skills for explaining procedures clearly and building trust with diverse patient populations.
