Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and infection control. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments. Conduct patient assessments and document findings in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Take and interpret medical imaging as needed for patient evaluations. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review to ensure proper patient care continuity. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Monitor vital signs and maintain an aseptic technique throughout all procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient experiences in both general dentistry and pediatric settings. Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Experience Candidates should possess: Proficiency in dental software systems. Practice works is a plus. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred, along with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Familiarity with EMR systems, medical coding, and documentation review processes. Previous experience in dental assisting or within a dental clinic environment is highly desirable. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
