Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Campbell, CA

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented REGISTERED Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our clinical team by providing duties of Registered dental Assitanr , ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a sterile environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting, utilizing advanced dental technology and fostering a collaborative team environment. Experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Epic , open dental is preferred, along with knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care across general dentistry, implant surgical and prosthodontics, and endodontics procedures and aligner procedure Duties Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and prosthodontics Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies using aseptic technique Take and develop dental X-rays and operate medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners Record vital signs and medical history accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems . open dental software experience (preferred ) or any dental software such as Dentrix eagle soft etc Ensure proper infection control practices are followed to maintain a sterile environment Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans Manage medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency Assist with medical coding and documentation for billing purposes Support the dental reception area as needed by scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting; endo and oral surgery Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic; familiarity with medical coding and documentation is preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Ability to operate X-ray equipment and 3D scanners safely and effectively Strong understanding of general dentistry procedures including endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration Certification in radiography or X-ray safety is desirable Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills directly contribute to patient health and satisfaction.
