Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our vibrant dental team! In this role, you will be the backbone of patient care, providing exceptional chairside assistance and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental experience. As an RDA, you will support dentists across a variety of procedures, from general dentistry to specialized fields such as prosthodontics and endodontics, all while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and pediatric treatments, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, dental materials, and sterilized equipment following aseptic techniques. Maintain infection control standards by adhering to sterilization protocols and infection prevention guidelines. Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic flow, including managing appointments as a dental receptionist when needed. Keep up-to-date with the latest dental assisting techniques, medical documentation practices, and software updates like Epic or other EMR platforms. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting skills including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and performing vital signs measurement. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic technique. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
