Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with a dedicated team of dental professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various dental conditions. Execute a range of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with a focus on creating a positive experience for younger patients. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care delivery. Uphold infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all clinical settings. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Experience in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other advanced procedures is an asset. Previous experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is highly desirable. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
