Dental Assistant PT Days - Centurion Health - Bunker Hill, IN

Hourly Pay Rate $23 per hour! Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant for a part-time opportunity at Miami Correctional Facility located in Bunker Hill , Indiana. The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. Essential Duties: Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory Operating radiographic equipment Administrative tasks as needed High school diploma or GED equivalent required Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required Certification in Dental Radiology required Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Available Shift: part-time 6am-2:30pm, three days per week, Monday-Wednesday Centurion is the provider of healthcare services for the Indiana DOC.
