Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and patient education. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive experience for every patient while maintaining the highest standards of dental practice. Very busy practice, 8 ops, lots of new patients, and all of the latest equipment. $600 per day or percent of collections Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Provide a range of dental services, including restorative, preventive, and pediatric dentistry. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and medical history using Epic or similar systems. Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques as appropriate. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution. Active dental license to practice dentistry in the state of Michigan. Familiarity with medical terminology and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
