Lead General Dentist - Dentex Strategies LLC - Mexico, MO

Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Associate Dentist to join their established healthcare team. This position will have a strong emphasis on providing high-quality care in a professional, supportive, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a broad range of dental needs while addressing the behavioral health considerations often present in underserved community patients. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive dental care, including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, and preventive services Conduct thorough diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans Manage dental emergencies and complex cases as required Communicate effectively with patients and families, fostering trust and understanding throughout treatment Utilize proven behavioral management techniques to ensure a positive dental experience for patients Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, hygienists, and other providers to deliver integrated care Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely patient records in accordance with health center policies and regulations Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote oral health awareness Provide guidance and mentorship to dental assistants and other support staff Qualifications DDS or DMD degree with current licensure in the state of Missouri Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in dentistry preferred Prior experience in pediatric dentistry strongly preferred Training or demonstrated ability in managing pediatric behavioral health issues and dental anxiety is advantageous Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with children and families Patient-centered approach with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care Willingness to serve in a rural health center setting and provide care to underserved populations Knowledge of current dental technologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development Position Details Full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday .
