Permanent Dental Assistant Job in New Albany, IN
Description: Performs a variety of surgical assisting duties in compliance with state regulations, to promote quality dental care for patients in a stress-fee, comfortable environment. Assists the Surgeon with multiple surgical procedures, communicates effectively with patients, maintains equipment and inventory, obtain Requirements: PRIMARY DUTIES Review patientsâ medical history and records Obtain radiographs as needed Chart and record treatment information in chart Prepare patients for diagnosis and/or treatment Assist surgeon and anticipate needs during surgical procedures Recover patients Perform post-operative patient care Clean and stock operatories Perform instrument sterilization and infection control Prepare surgical instruments for procedures Control inventory of clinical supplies and order as needed Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and privacy policies at all times Assist with the implementation of marketing strategies such as asking for referrals and testimonials Other duties as assigned DESIRED SKILLS High school graduate Radiology certification Radiography âdigital sensors Sterilizationâ autoclaves, ultrasonic, handpiece equipment Experience utilizing practice management software
