Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments for patients of all ages. Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessment findings. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Utilize imaging systems to capture diagnostic images as needed. Collaborate with dentist and other dental staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Attend Morning Huddles. Review patient charts in advance. Keep track of the daily schedule and maintain it for efficient workflow of the practice and the team. Skills 2-3 years of experience is preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply. Proficient in dental terminology and procedures relevant to clinical practice. Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques and documentation review processes. Familiarity with dental imaging systems used in dentistry. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment in a dental office. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, enhancing the ability to cater to younger demographics effectively.
