Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Indianapolis, IN
Job Summary: We are looking for a full time dental hygienist to join our practice to help our patients needs. We are a great team that is looking to expand with a candidate that is a team player, loves working with patients and has a great attitude. Responsibilities: - Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Take and develop dental x-rays - Administer local anesthetics - Maintain and update patient dental records - Conduct patient assessments and charting - Provide chair-side assistance to dentists as needed Qualifications: - Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - State licensure as a Dental Hygienist - Proficiency in medical terminology and coding - Knowledge of anatomy, vital signs, and medical records systems - Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages - Prior experience in a dental office setting Join our team to make a difference in patients' oral health while enjoying a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
