Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Kalispell, MT

Greater Valley Health Center is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant in Kalispell, MT. This Dental Assistant position offers a Monday-Friday (possible 4 day work week) schedule with no weekends and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused dental clinic. We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a collaborative dental office environment. What You'll Do As a Dental Assistant, you will support dentists and hygienists while ensuring efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care. Dental Assistant responsibilities include: Assisting the dentist during restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dental procedures Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after patient visits Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment Recording patient health histories and assist with dental charting Preparing dental materials (cements, composite, etc.) Educate patients on oral health and preventive care Maintain infection control and safety standards Manage dental supply inventory Support front office tasks such as scheduling and patient check-in Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Montana board-approved radiography certificate (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire) Valid Montana driver's license Preferred Experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic or private practice Graduate of an ADA-accredited dental assisting program Skills We're Looking for Strong Communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team in a dental office Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong attention to detail and strong infection control practices Commitment to learning and professional growth Benefits GVHC offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees, which may include: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with matching Paid time off (PTO) and holidays Retirement plan options Continuing education opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunities for career growth Work Environment This Dental Assistant position is based in a clinical setting and involves standing, walking, and working with dental equipment.
