Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional dental care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health for patients. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients. Utilize Eaglesoft and other systems for patient record management and appointment scheduling. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and high standards of care. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar practice management software is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
