Our Kalispell team is looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Orthodontic Assistant to guide our clinical team, support the doctor, and ensure our patients receive outstanding care at every visit. Responsibilities: Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during all clinical procedures, including bonding, adjustments, aligner checks, scans, virtual monitoring and records. Lead and mentor the clinical assistant team; provide training, guidance, and feedback. Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day and support the team in meeting schedule goals. Oversee sterilization processes, clinical inventory, and operatory organization to ensure compliance and efficiency. Communicate effectively with patients and families, explaining procedures and reinforcing oral hygiene and care instructions. Support the orthodontist and practice leadership in implementing new processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving a positive, team-oriented culture. Serve as a role model for professionalism, patient care, and teamwork. Qualifications: Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to lead by example, motivate a team, and foster a collaborative environment.
