Job Title: Certified Dental Assistant Location: Harlem, MT Start Date: May 2025 Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 40hr/week Qualification: Education: Completion of an accredited dental assisting program (CODA) Preferred. Certification: Active Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), BLS License: A current, valid, unrestricted any state dental assistant license Experience: Minimum 2 year of clinical experience as a Dental Assistant. Responsibilities: Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and proper instrument handling. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. Perform chairside assisting and anticipate the dentist's needs during treatments. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dental health. Manage dental records, treatment plans, and patient histories in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Mix dental materials, prepare impression trays, and handle lab work as needed. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure proper restocking. Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines for patient confidentiality and workplace safety.
