Job Overview We are a private dental practice in city of Fountain Valley, seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), who would be an excellent addition to our already awesome team. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. prophylaxis/SRP's 2. updating patient radiographs as needed 3. writing immaculate documentation/procedure notes 4. patient education regarding their overall oral & periodontal health 5. instrument sterilization 6. patient scheduling (ensuring every hygiene patient leaves the office with their next hygiene appointment already scheduled), etc. Skills Knowledge of Dentrix patient management software for charting purposes. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Proficient at taking clear digital dental X-rays. General knowledge of hygiene and restorative dentistry to educate patient regarding their dental needs. Instrument Sterilization Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques essential for clinical excellence. Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health care plans. 2+ year of RDH experience is preferred, but we welcome new graduates as well. Currently, we are seeking for a hygienist for Thursdays from 7:00AM-3:30PM with potential to add Wednesdays from 8:00AM-5:00PM down the line.
