Competitive hourly rates start at $60 per hour plus bonus commission. Candidates with meaningful experience can earn higher compensation. What You’ll Do As a vital part of our dental team, you will provide comprehensive hygiene care and support patients throughout their dental journey: Perform routine dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, diet, and preventive care to maintain healthy teeth and gums Administer local anesthesia and apply sealants as required Collaborate with dentists to evaluate oral health, identify potential concerns, and assist in treatment planning Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing oral surgeries or other treatments, including home care education and follow-up support Monitor periodontal health, conduct charting, and support treatment planning for gum disease Stay current on advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies through continuing education Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures, treatment recommendations, and progress What We’re Looking For You may be a perfect fit if you bring: An Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Active Dental Hygienist license (RDH) in the state Experience delivering comprehensive cleanings and preventive care Proficiency in diagnostic and preventive procedures, including X-rays, fluoride treatments, and oral cancer screenings Strong communication skills for patient education and collaboration with the dental team Commitment to compassionate patient care and creating a comfortable environment Willingness to stay updated on dental hygiene advancements through continuing education Compliance with all legal and ethical standards in dental hygiene practice Skills You’ll Use Every Day Dental Prophylaxis & Oral Prophylaxis Scaling and Root Planing Periodontal Therapy & Gum Disease Treatment Fluoride Treatments & Sealant Application Patient Education & Oral Hygiene Instruction Preventive Care & Treatment Planning Dental Software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft) Compassionate, patient-focused care
